Former cast mates posted on social media indicating he died on January 24, but a cause of death has not been announced.
Beckwith played Martin Martin from 1992 to 1998 (pictured above) replacing Samuel Hammington who appeared as a younger version in 1985.
Kym Valentine, who played Libby Kennedy, wrote: “It pains me so much to have to say this. Our dear old friend Troy Beckwith has passed away. Another member of our TV family (has) gone way too soon.
She added: “Thanks for all the memories my cheeky mate and all my love to your friends and family.”
Former casting director Jan Russ posted: “Dear Troy… That is so sad. Gorgeous boy.”
Brett Blewitt who played Brett Stark, wrote: “ He was such a lovely person. Deeply thoughtful and empathetic. Cheeky and playful once out of his shell. Way too soon. Love you mate.”
Lucinda Cowden also posted a string of broken heart emojis.
Beckwith, who also featured in Pugwall, Blue Heelers, Pugwall, The Miraculous Mellops, Good Guys Bad Guys, Snowy and Halifax f.p., made headlines in 2017 when he vanished for several days before being located.
