Travel Guides drives Nine to Tuesday win

Travel Guides final new travelogue for the year topped entertainment at 645,000 metro viewers last night, giving Nine a winning night.

That was ahead of Dessert Masters finale which did well in demos at 465,000, rising to 556,000 for the moment Gareth Whitton was announced as winner, then 7:30 (416,000), Highway Patrol (331,000 / 314,000) and The Way We Wore (301,000).

Later The Cheap Seats wrapped their year at 350,000 then Yakka: Australia at Work (222,000), and Movie: Ocean’s 8 (218,000).

Nine network won Tuesday with 30.7% then Seven 24.7%, 10 19.3%, ABC 16.9% and SBS 8.5%.

Nine News (780,000 / 748,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair led with 637,000 then Hot Seat (374,000 /241,000).

Seven News was #1 at 886,000 / 867,000. The Chase pulled 484,000 / 287,000 and Home & Away (427,000). Big Brother managed 134,000 then The Endgame (58,000).

The Project drew 301,000 / 175,000. 10 News First was 193,000 / 153,000. NCIS was 106,000.

ABC News was 621,000. The Drum (135,000) and Believing in Australia (128,000) folllowed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (135,000 / 88,000), Who Do You Think You Are? (122,000) and Stock Aitken & Waterman: Legends of Pop (101,000).

Would I Lie to You? led multichannels at 100,000.
