We hope audiences walk away inspired after experiencing this touching story.”
Second Variety, A transparent musical is told through the eyes of the Pfefferman family’s youngest child, Ali Pfefferman: “Ali’s Los Angeles Jewish family is full of secrets, but when their mother, Maura — played by Daya Curley — moves on to the transgender matriarch she has always known to be, the family is forced to confront their identities and navigate their relationships with each other. Both Soloways were previously behind the stage production Brady’s Real Band Live which played in Australia and later gave birth to the The movie Brady’s Bunch and its sequels.
