The industry will meet twice a year for the Diversity Roundtable

Media organizations have agreed to meet twice a year following last week’s Media Diversity Australia Roundtable, held at SBS last Friday.

Together with Communications Minister, Michelle Rowland have served as managing directors and executives of AAP, ABC, Private Media Group, News Corp Australia, Nine, SBS, Seven, 10, The Daily Aus, The Conversation Group and The Guardian.

They included:

  • SBS Chief Executive Officer James Taylor
  • Nine CEO Mike Sneesby
  • 10’s Executive Vice President, Chief Content Officer and Head of Paramount, Beverley McGarvey
  • Lucinda Gemmell, Chief People and Culture Officer of Seven
  • ABC Chief Content Officer Chris Oliver-Taylor

A statement of the outcome of the conversations and the commitments undertaken is expected shortly.

The next panel discussion will be hosted by the Nine Network.
