Susie Youssef to host 2023 Screen Music Awards

The 2023 Screen Music Awards will be held at the Forum Melbourne on November 9th, hosted by Susie Youssef (The Project, Deadloch).

The annual APRA AMCOS and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers awards will showcase the four Feature Film Score of the Year nominations performed live by the Screen Awards orchestra, led by Musical Director Erkki Veltheim.

Nominees for 10 peer-voted categories will be announced on Thursday 5 October, along with Most Performed Screen Composer – Australia and Most Performed Screen Composer – Overseas, decided through royalty earnings.

The Distinguished Services to the Australian Screen Award (as determined by the APRA Board of Directors) will be announced prior to the awards. Previous recipients include Martin Armiger, Robert Connolly, Nerida Tyson-Chew, and the 2022 recipient Nigel Westlake.
