Seven’s big Sunday win

Seven’s big Sunday win

The Voice grand final drew 740,000 metropolitan viewers, rising to 783,000 for the moment Tarryn Stokes was announced as winner.

That was just shy of the best numbers all season and on par with last year’s finale, give or take a few thousand.

It doubled Death in Paradise (356,000) and The Graham Norton Show at just 184,000.

Later 7News Spotlight won at 396,000 in preliminary numbers but ran terribly overtime, meaning those numbers will likely be adjusted lower. The Newsreader was 280,000.

There were two big sporting events on Sunday with Bathurst 1000 at 602,000 for the Race, down on 2022’s 774,000, and the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup at up to 281,000 in 3 cities (a seperately coded figure for 2 cities was 122,000).

Seven network easily won Sunday with 36.4% then Nine 28.7%, ABC 15.1%, 10 11.9% and SBS 7.8%.

Seven News was #1 at 944,000 defeating Nine News at 710,000.

ABC News was 560,000 with Antiques Roadshow (150,000), Voices of Australia (129,000) and Mother & Son at 107,000.

The Sunday Project drew 257,000 / 172,000 for 10. 10 News First was 173,000 / 160,000. FBI was just 113,000 with NCIS: Hawaii at 75,000.

On SBS it was SBS World News (147,000 / 102,000), Bermuda Triangle: Into Cursed Waters (121,000), and Rebel with a Cause (56,000).

Insiders led multichannels at just 89,000.
