Seven has appointed Todd Dickinson as Queensland chief executive, following the resignation of Ben Roberts-Smith.
He assumes the new role in addition to his current role of Brisbane Sales Director, while Greg Gabel continues to serve as Country Director of Local Markets Regional Sales.
Dickinson has over two decades of experience, the last 16 years of those with Seven in previously held roles including Group Sales Manager and Sales Manager Brisbane.
SWM Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer James Warburton said: “I am thrilled to announce this appointment. I have worked closely with Todd for many years and he is one of the best practitioners in the industry with a proven track record of delivering results in his 16 years with Seven.
“Todd and Greg will make a formidable team as they continue to strengthen our support for communities across Queensland and strengthen our relationships with key stakeholders including valued customers and partners.”
Todd Dickinson said: “It’s a real privilege to take on this role. I am acutely aware of Seven’s history in Queensland and the important role the network plays as part of the fabric of our great state. That legacy can never be eroded.
“Equally important is our digital-led future and making sure we are best placed to lead the way – for our audience, our partners and our own people.
“It is a real privilege to have the opportunity to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. I take this responsibility very seriously and look forward to being involved,” he told her.
Todd Dickinson has already started his new role.
