As a first tip TV tonightSam Pang will host this year’s TV Week Logie Awards to be held on Sunday 30th July at The Star Sydney.
The Front Bar / Have you been paying attention? star will be the first presenter of TV Week Logie Awards in 11 years – one of many changes introduced in 2023 under the “reimagining” of Seven del Logical.
Sam Pang said: “It is a great honor to be invited to host the Logical and while it will be strange not to have a buzzer or a beer in front of me, I hope I’m up to the challenge. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this industry and look forward to July 30th in Sydney to celebrate Australian television on its night of nights and guide viewers home through the full four hour broadcast.
Seven Network: Entertainment Programming Chief Content Officer Angus Ross said: “Sam was looking forward to accepting an award for Kitty Flanagan in senior year Logical and he found himself on stage and stole the whole show with his ironic and witty sides. We are thrilled that audiences will enjoy Sam Pang even more in Seven as he steers the ship through the night with his genuine affection for the industry, past and present, along with his signature humor.
Entries will be announced on Monday morning at the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney at 7am.
Seven will broadcast the Logical Sunday 30 July from 7.00pm.
