There are industry rumors that Seven could launch a new soccer panel show later this year ahead of the Finals.
The age reported that an anonymous senior source at Seven confirmed the network was working on creating more content ahead of September, but stopped short of saying it would be a relaunch of Talking Footy.
Talking Footy concluded in 2020 when the pandemic hit, with presenters Luke Darcy, Tim Watson, Brian Taylor and Matthew Richardson.
If there is a new show, it could be produced by Eddie McGuire-owned JAM TV, Craig Hutchison-owned Sports Entertainment Network or Mick Molloy-led Front bar Entertainment…or another party?
