The price tag for the last home sold by a private individual The block has been disclosed.
Dylan and Jenny’s home traded in February, but it has taken until now for public records to reveal the price.
Age carries over it sold for $3.9 million ($180,000 less than its original reserve price of $4.08 million and $175,000 less than the highest auction bid of $4,075,000).
The new owners hadn’t seen the show but saw on Facebook that the house was still available and got in touch.
Last year’s finale had mixed results as winners Omar and Oz made a profit of $1,586,666.66 over reserve, the largest result in the show’s history.
But Tom and Sarah-Jane earned just over $20,000 in prize money, while three houses were moved.
Rachel and Ryan sold after the deals for approximately $169,000 over reserve, while Ankur and Sharon sold the following week for a profit of $170,000.
Despite the competitive element of the series, it’s unclear where the pair ended up in the series’ standings.
A spokesperson for Nine said in February: “We can confirm that House 4 has sold The block: change of tree in Gisborne, in what is a positive result for everyone”.
