Patricia Karvelas will return to host Questions and answers when it resumes on ABC next Monday night.
Guests in the Melbourne studio include UK Minister of State for the Armed Forces James Heappey, filmmaker Rachel Perkins and independent Curtin member Kate Chaney.
It is not yet clear whether Karvelas will remain in the role of presenter for the rest of the year.
Stan Grant stepped down from show business in late May seeking a break from the media.
News Director Justin Stevens told a Senate estimates hearing “He’s been taking leave for about eight weeks.”
Sources at ABC have indicated that there are no updates yet on her return to the show.
Meanwhile, yesterday BTN held a D+R high school forum in Melbourne hosted by Amelia Moseley, with Youth Minister Anne Aly discussing topics with a teenage audience: HECS debts, nuclear power, Commonwealth Games, voting, Voice to Parliament, social media, school phone bans and misuse of AI.
