Nine wins Tuesday with Travel Guides return

Travel Guides returned to Nine last night for the first of two new episodes, to spike the final two weeks of ratings.

It topped entertainment at 640,000 metro viewers and helped Nine to a win.

That was comfortably ahead of 7:30 (435,000), Dessert Masters (412,000), The Way We Wore (338,000) and Highway Patrol (301,000 / 276,000).

Later The Cheap Seats led with 339,000 then Yakka: Australia at Work (224,000)

Nine network won Tuesday with 32.0% then Seven 24.7%, 10 18.9%, ABC 17.6% and SBS 6.8%.

Nine News (748,000 / 722,000) was best for Nine then A Current Affair (649,000) and Hot Seat (370,000 / 222,000). Movie: Central Intelligence was 187,000.

Seven News was #1 at 788,000 / 778,000 then The Chase (459,000 / 285,000) and Home & Away (401,000). Big Brother still struggles at 128,000. The Endgame was only 31,000.

The Project pulled 259,000 / 168,000. 10 News First was 177,000 / 124,000. NCIS managed 119,000.

ABC News drew 523,000. Believing in Australia (128,000) and The Drum (114,000) followed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (135,000 / 109,000), Great British Railway Journeys (130,000 / 121,000) and Merkel (62,000).

Outback Truckers on 7mate topped multichannels at 103,000.
