Marcia Hines looks set to return Australian idol.
“Looks like I’m going to do it again this year,” said Sul Jess Rowe’s Big Talk Show podcasts.
“I’m really looking forward to it.”
Reflecting on her long run on the Original 10, she said, “It’s been a wonderful thing to nurture and try to help people who just want to be in show business.
“These kids have been plucked from obscurity and thrown into the biggest television show Australia has ever seen,” he added.
“And that was just before social media went crazy.”
It’s unclear whether Hines is a guest judge or a permanent part of the judging panel for Seven in 2024. But there is speculation that Meghan Trainor and possibly Harry Connick Jr. may not return to the show filming auditions in the coming weeks.
Hines, who is currently embarking on a 50th anniversary Still Shining tour, also clicks with Kyle Sandilands which, given that’s not easy, would undoubtedly make her a network favorite.
