EXCLUSIVE:
Seven will screen a Roast of John Cleese which will be filmed in Melbourne on 19 July.
Cleese, who will be touring his show An Evening with the Late John Cleese starting July 24, he’ll be roasted by a crop of comedians in the Shane Jacobson-produced show.
Jacobson also produced Paul Hogan’s Roast for Seven last year, filmed at Crown Melbourne. Featuring names like Shaun Micallef, Tom Gleeson, Steve Vizard, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, it was well received by 513,000 tube goers.
Cleese, 83, is also behind Fawlty Towers reboot with daughter Camilla Cleese, more than 4 decades after the finale screened.
