Germany will get a local version of The blockknown locally as 4 Wall Competition – The ultimate building challenge.
Good Times, producer subsidiary of Banijay Germany, will feature four couples competing over an unloved apartment, turning it into a high-end property.
The Nine Network format has been adapted in 14 territories including New Zealand, Belgium, Netherlands, United States and Denmark, where its eighth season won the slot in all demos.
Good Times chief executive Shona Fraser said: “We like it The block – it’s such a strong format and we can’t wait to bring it to RTL in Germany with our special reality twist. It’s so exciting to see the teams create completely new rooms from a blank canvas.”
