Sunrise will have its final broadcast from its Martin Place studio on Friday, concluding a 19-year run in Sydney’s CBD.
The presenters are Matt Shirvington and Monique Wright, no doubt leaving Mark Beretta as the “last man standing” for the final day of broadcasting, as Natalie Barr is on holiday and David Koch has recently retired (Edwina Bartholomew is joined in 2011 and Sam Mac in 2016).
Goodbye even space is The morning show with Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies closing a chapter on the 16 years sharing the studio space, each of whom has won ratings.
From Monday Sunrise will embark on a new set and chapter at his home in Eveleigh, following the move of Seven News late last month.
Weekend dawn will be the final broadcast in space on Sunday.
