Cameras roll on ABC ME’s new series, FANG

Filming on the extraterrestrial and imaginative series has begun in north-west Melbourne FANG (From a nearby galaxy) for ABC ME.

The series from Moody Street Kids and Princess Pictures centers on 12-year-old Lulin who lives in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Bogger’s Marsh (!) with her human father, Ken, her extraterrestrial grandmother, Ezme, and a cantankerous retired galactic invader, Beast.

While Lulin has supercharged powers, they are highly erratic due to her unusual human Astoradia. As Lulin begins to experiment, he soon realizes that by accepting his differences and going his way, he is capable of extraordinary feats!

This otherworldly coming-of-age story follows Lulin’s sometimes awkward, but always hilarious, search for identity amidst her colliding worlds.

With Lisa McCune (Blue Heelers, How to stay married) as Lulin’s Astoradian mother Ezme, newcomers are Nina Gallas as Lulin, Uma Dumais as Henry, Max Turner as Spider, Carlee Clements as Verjonica, and Cassie Robb as Bestro, Primo and Supreme.
