Entries are now open in the Film, Television, Documentary and Short Film categories for AACTA Awards – to be staged in 2024.
Earlier this year, the Australian Academy announced a move to the Gold Coast for the AACTA Awards Ceremony, ScreenFest and AACTA International Awards.
Moving the event to 2024 is intended to place the Australian Academy in international awards season alongside Oscars AND BAFTA and extends the eligibility period to include film and television/streaming productions released in calendar year 2023.
There are over 50 different award categories across film, television, documentary and short films.
All of the previous year’s award categories will return with more details on the Digital Awards to be announced shortly.
