Fallen AFL footballer Ben Cousins landed a role as a sports presenter Seven news morning bulletin in Perth.
Ray Kuka, Seven Network’s news director in Perth, said PerthNow, “You can see why Cousins was a football star. She obviously has a natural ability, but her work ethic is incredibly impressive.
Cousins is expected to continue appearing three days a week, alongside his regular prime time AFL breakout segment with Adrian Barich on Thursdays, with potentially more appearances.
In 2020, Cousins opened up about life behind bars and his drug background in a documentary about Seven, Ben Cousins: Come clean.
