Casting is now formally underway for Master Chef Australia 2024.
“We are looking for people from all backgrounds and from locations across Australia,” says a casting notice.
“If you have a passion for food and have always dreamed of cooking in Master Chef cook, now is your chance!
Applicants must be aged 18 or over by Monday 16 October 2023, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and be an amateur cook. Applicants with previous professional or semi-professional cooking experience will not be admitted. In addition, you cannot have any formal tertiary or other professional cooking qualifications gained within the last 10 years.
Separately, 10 indicated that casting decisions about replacing Jock Zonfrillo won’t be considered until later this year.
